Barry Costa-Pierce presents at New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians; Barbara Swartzlander attends

Barry Costa-Pierce, Ph.D., Henry & Grace Doherty Professor of Marine Sciences and director of the Marine Science Center, presented a detailed overview of at the New England Science Boot Camp for Librarians, which was held at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, on June 18, 2015. 

Barbara Swartzlander, MS.Ed., M.L.S., ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½â€™s director of Reference Services, was among sixty science librarians from prominent universities, hospitals and institutions who attended. 

Costa-Pierce’s research interests are in the ecological and social ecology of aquatic food systems, and he is widely recognized as a pioneer of the field of Ecological Aquaculture.
