ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and Deering High's global initiatives partnership covered by the Forecaster
The Forecaster on Jan. 29th ran a story on the new partnership between Deering High School and ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s Global Initiatives Program.
As a result of the new partnership, Deering students will be able to attend lectures by international experts at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½â€™s Portland campus. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students who have travelled abroad will also share their experiences with Deering students. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ faculty will provide professional development for Deering’s staff on topics such as the importance of developing a global outlook. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½'s Associate Provost for Global Initiatives, Anouar Majid, Ph.D., was quoted in the story.
