Marilyn Gugliucci and three second-year students give Learning by Living presentation at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½COM Dean's Lecture
On October 8, 2010. at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College of Osteopathic Medicine Alumni Reunion, Dr. Marilyn Gugliucci and 3 ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½COM second-year students were the invited ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½COM Dean's Lecture presenters. Their presentation was entitled: "Learning by Living: Life Altering Medical Education Research."
The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½COM Students who participated in the Learning by Living project during the 2010 summer and presented their experiences at the Dean's Lecture were: Amy Pratt, Matt Sharbaugh, and Jana Tencati. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½COM is recognized as the first medical school in the country to establish such a research project, certainly an acknowledgment that ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½COM Alumni were pleased about.
