Jon Calame presents "Homesick: Architects as Essential Health Care Workers" as part of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Art Gallery lecture series

"Homesick: Architects as Essential Health Care Workers" is part of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Art Gallery's ongoing series of remote interdisciplinary public talks revolving around gallery exhibitions and academic overlap.  In the context of "Sensing Place", at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Art Gallery in Portland (curated by Anna Queen and Justine Kablack; February 18-June 12, 2022), architectural historian Jon Calame will argue that good architecture is best understood as a branch of pharmacology.  He will speak in conversation with Dr. Susan Wehry, Chief of Geriatrics at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College of Osteopathic Medicine.
